GoHighLevel AI Studio or the AI Engine on a managed auction site?

If your auction house already runs HighLevel and has someone to build and tune agents, HighLevel's AI products give you a large, configurable toolbox. If you want an AI receptionist, chat and text agents set up from your own sale facts and reviewed before launch, our AI Engine comes configured on Block and Rostrum.

The short answer

A deep, configurable AI toolbox if you run HighLevel yourself; a configured, reviewed agent included in the plan if you do not.

Facts about GoHighLevel AI Studio checked on its own website on September 18, 2026.

What it is,
in fairness

What is GoHighLevel AI Studio?

HighLevel's AI pricing documentation names a family of AI products, including Ask AI, Conversation AI, Voice AI, Agent Studio, Workflow AI, Funnel and Website AI, Email AI, Knowledge Base, Content AI, Reviews AI, AI Studio and Managed Agents. Its AI page presents role-based agents such as an AI Receptionist, AI Scheduler and AI Sales Agent, plus Agent Studio, a drag-and-drop agent builder. AI Employee is billed pay-per-use or through monthly per-location plans, and HighLevel states Agent Studio is pay-per-use on all plans. We have not tested these products ourselves; this summary is only what HighLevel publishes.

What should an AI agent actually say to a bidder?

For an auction house the hard part of AI is not the software, it is the script. The agent needs to know this week's sale dates, how paddle registration works, what your house accepts on consignment, and exactly where to stop: no valuation opinions, no bidding strategy, no licensing questions, a person for anything that sounds like advice. HighLevel gives you powerful tools to build that yourself. Our AI Engine is configured by us from the facts already published on your site, you review the scripts before launch, and anything resembling advice is handed to a person at your business.

02 An honest split

Which is the better fit for your house?

When GoHighLevel AI Studio is the better choice

  • You already run your business in HighLevel and want every agent in one account.
  • You have a person or agency who enjoys building and testing agents.
  • You need agent types beyond answering questions and booking, such as reputation or sales agents.
  • You want to wire AI into complex HighLevel workflows you already maintain.

When a managed auction house site wins

  • You want the AI receptionist, chat widget and text agents configured for you, not a toolbox to learn.
  • You want the agent built from the same facts as your website, so the two never disagree.
  • You want A2P 10DLC registration filed for you.
  • You want AI included with the website plan rather than configured as a separate project.

Switching,
or keeping
both

Can you run both?

Yes, but pick one to answer each channel so bidders do not get two replies. A common split: our AI Engine answers chat and after-hours questions on the website, and the inquiry details it collects route into your HighLevel CRM, where your existing workflows and HighLevel agents take over the follow-up. We agree the split with you during onboarding.

  1. Step 1Tell us which channels your HighLevel agents cover today.
  2. Step 2We draft AI Engine scripts from your published sale facts and terms.
  3. Step 3You review the scripts and decide which channels each system answers.
  4. Step 4We launch, and route captured inquiries into your CRM.

From houses that made a similar choice

  • We expected a prettier website; what we actually use every day is the new form. It collects sale reference, lot number and collection question up front, so the back-and-forth we used to do by reply has largely gone. The first message is usually enough to act on now.

  • My first check was simple: open the auction collection guidance page on a mobile and try to get in touch. Everything a visitor needs is up top, and the inquiry button stands out properly. The days of talking customers through the menu are over.

GoHighLevel AI Studio vs a managed site: questions

What does HighLevel mean by AI Studio?

HighLevel's pricing documentation lists AI Studio as one of its AI products, alongside Conversation AI, Voice AI, Agent Studio, Workflow AI and others. We describe only what HighLevel publishes; we have not tested these products and cannot speak to how they perform.

What does your AI Engine do for an auction house?

On Block and Rostrum, an AI receptionist, a chat widget and text messaging agents answer common questions: upcoming sale dates, how to register to bid, what you accept on consignment, and how to reach a person. They take inquiry details and can book appointments.

Will the AI give valuation or bidding advice?

No. It is configured not to, and to hand anything resembling advice about an item's value, bidding strategy or licensing straight to a person at your business. You review the scripts before launch.

Who files the A2P 10DLC registration for text messaging?

We do. Text messaging to US numbers requires carrier registration, which we file for you; carrier fees are passed through at cost. You remain responsible for consent and opt-out obligations on your own messages.

How is AI usage billed on your plan?

Block is $267 a month plus AI usage, billed monthly in arrears at what our providers charge us. Rostrum is $647 a month. There is no separate AI setup project.

Can my HighLevel CRM receive what the AI Engine collects?

Yes. Inquiry details route into your CRM by API, Zapier or Make, so your HighLevel pipelines and follow-up workflows keep working.

Is HighLevel AI Employee a separate cost from a HighLevel plan?

According to HighLevel's pricing documentation, AI Employee can be billed pay-per-use or through monthly per-location plans, and Agent Studio is pay-per-use on all plans. Check HighLevel's current pricing page for your account, since we do not publish their prices.

Should a small estate sale company bother with AI at all?

Only if questions arrive when nobody can answer them. If your phone rings after hours about sale dates and registration, an agent helps. If not, Ring gives you the full managed site without the AI Engine.
